Classroom Clerk and Appointed Head Clerk (for CH and FS)
Classroom Clerk:

Take roll daily. The teacher will provide a list and attendance is taken at the beginning of every classroom session. Those that are absent must be repeated at the conclusion of roll call.
Keep track of student’s speaking time during classroom debates. This is done by operating the classroom lighting system and a stopwatch.
Assist the teacher with the distribution of materials at the start of class and throughout the class period.
Take roll during classroom votes. As you read each representative's name, he/she will announce their vote and the Classroom Secretary will take the official record of the vote.
Head Clerk:
Appointed by the Speaker of the House
Does not need to currently be in Legislative Semester
Helps the Speaker manage the details of the debate during Full Session
Makes sure representatives do not exceed the amount of time yielded to them in Full Session debate
Collects the committee vote record sheets from the committee clerks and makes sure these votes are entered into the main Google Doc voting form
Collects completed vote tally sheets and maintains the official vote record.
