Soon after the majority and minority parties have been established, students declare their intentions to run for leadership positions- the Floor Leaders and the Speaker of the House.

When representatives have obtained the necessary number of signature to be on the ballot and have campaigned throughout their committees, Elections are held in the Commons.

The Rules Committee and Elections Commission are responsible for presenting, preparing, and leading the election process. Those that are elected are responsible for organizing and leading Committee Hearings and Full Session.
