Each student's role as a representative in Legislative Semester begins in the classroom. After being officially sworn in, representatives elect leadership that chooses which topics to debate in class. These topics, or resolutions, are debated in a congressional subcommittee format. Students are responsible for preparing and executing the entire resolution- from the roll call at the beginning to the final vote at its conclusion.
