Assalamu alaikum
Welcome to the 3rd Grade Arabic class. My name is Mohamed Taha, and I will be your child Arabic teacher for 2014/ 2015 school year. I will be working with my students to enhance their knowledge of Arabic language. The students will learn the correct pronunciation of the Arabic Alphabet and practice writing Arabic letters in the classroom and at home. They will learn read and write words based on alphabet, numbers, and colors in Arabic, as well as they will learn conversations. I would like the support of the parents to encourage the children to do their homework, so they will receive the full benefits from the class.

Dear parents,
I will be out of town January 18th. However, teacher Bakr Younis will substitute for me during my absent. The homework due for the following week is posted below.

Please review previous lessons.
QURAN: Memorization for Surah Almassad, Surah Al-Kafiroon, Surah Quraish and Surah Al-Maun.
NORANI QAEIDA: Practice Lessons 10 on p. (17).
ARABIC: Pratice of "Zaa" letter
TextBOOK: HW Part One: Practice all lessons on unit 12 p. (77-83)
WORKBOOK: HW Part Two: Complete all lessons on unit 12 p. (71-76)
Additional assignment:
I asked some of the students to practice writing their names in Arabic and fill out one page. To find out this part of the homework apply to your child or not. Please ask your child to write his/ her name in Arabic. If the child write his/ her name correctly this part of the homework is not required. If the student straggle to write his/her name he or she need to do this part of the homework.
