Tasks
Once you have a significant number of Post-its, start grouping them into clusters. Look for themes or patterns that emerge.
Label each cluster with a brief, descriptive title.
Arrange the clusters into a hierarchy, with the most important or
central cluster at the top, and the less important or supporting clusters below it.
Take a step back and review the entire diagram. Look for anything that surprises you, or any patterns or themes that you hadn’t noticed before.
Use the diagram to inform your future design decisions and recommendations. Keep the diagram visible as you continue with your design work, and refer back to it often.
Intially, I was unsuccessful in showing the breadth of this project. My unsucessful tries showed me the importance of redrawing and reassessing in the UX discpline.
I collobrated with two parties to produce an affinity diagram - readjusting by taking turns.
The intial basic design was used on Miro. I wanted to do this project digitally and gain confidence using a knew software.
I developed the affinity diagram in a team intially choosing three points, expanding to four and then expanding to 11 in the final project better showing the breadth of the research.
I realised while making a draft that the simple approach wasn't useful in showing the breadth of the research.
