Automatic Flying Method
When Clicking on the "Automatic" method for flying.
By using this method, the user can plot a field plot on Google Maps.
It allows the user to select any one option from the supported options as shown in the following image.
Click on "Field Plot ".
AeroGCS GREEN will require the options to create a filed plot using. It offers four options as shown in screen.
RC/Mobile:
Carry RC or Mobile to the actual field.
Mark the boundary points by actually moving to the specific location.
Mark the entire field plot by walking and reaching the exact locations.
Save that plot and use it for flying the drone.
The accuracy of the plotting area will be improved with this method.
DRONE:
In a similar way, as the boundaries of the field plot are marked with RC/Mobile, mark the boundary with the help of a drone flying in the air.
MAP:
Use the location on Google Maps to create a field plot using the map functionality.
It offers various features like ‘Add point’, ‘Clear’, and ‘Save’ options.
The pointer and the background moving on the Google Maps screen give precise field plotting.
Mark the boundaries of the field/plot by using any of the above methods by clicking on the “+Add Point”.
Note: While plotting follow the line path without overlapping and close the loop by joining back to the initial point.
In case of obstacle: Click on “Obstacle” and select “Polygon”.
Identify the obstacle and mark the boundary around it with a minimum of 5m indentation.
Make sure to mark the boundaries by taking the extreme edges of the obstacle. And click on “Save Obs” below.
Note: Then save the plot by clicking on “Save”.
- Note: For better identification of the records, put the “Project Name” as your organization/village name and “Plot Name” as the Farmer name / Dealer Name / Point of contact.
Click on the “Save” to save your plot.
Creating Plan
Click on the “Create Plan”, as shown in the following screen.
The interface after clicking on the “create plan” is shown below.
Setting the parameters is very important in flying a drone.
The user can set the parameters from the dashboard or the options pop up on the left-hand side of the screen after creating a plan.
