Lancer was inspired by the fairytale King Midas and the Golden Touch, with his design being influenced by JRPGs.

I first sculpted this character in Z-Brush, before moving it to Autodesk Maya to retopology. I then textured the character in Substance Painter - adding extra details such as eyelashes and chains via normal map brushes. 

The final character was then rendered in UE4 under different effects and shaders.
