During my student teaching, I encouraged my class to sponsor and participate in a pumpkin contest with other classrooms. Students decorated the pumpkin and enjoyed working as a group. With this activity, I allowed students to develop communication and thinking skills within the school. On the other hand, Our classroom won 1st place.

Throughout my student teaching, students had the opportunity to participate in different academic and non-academic activities, such as the Halloween feast. For this activity, students dressed up for Halloween and completed academic-related activities in the classroom. These activities displayed outstanding leadership and involvement with students.

Students participated in career day and dressed up as their career job. Students engaged and learned from different careers and experienced a mock interview which helped them apply communication and social skills.
