But what do you do once you get a grab? Well, this obviously isn’t Fox so you’re not gonna be pulling any zero to death combos here, unless they DI rather poorly.

Personally, I would opt for tech chasing until 22% assuming you get a grab. Tech chasing Sheik off fthrow is, unfortunately, not possible due to her very long tech rolls and the fact that her tech in place and tech roll in look exactly the same for the first 7 frames, but tech chasing is still a very good thing to do against her because her long tech roll can also work against her since she loses a LOT of stage, assuming she can’t slideoff DI.

At 0%, you can dthrow immediately into a tech chase. You can tech chase with sh tipper nair which can lead into fsmash on tech in place and no tech, if they opt to tech roll you can cover those with grab.

Once the guaranteed combo window is past, I usually mix up between fthrow/dthrow/up throw because up throw’s reward isn’t great aside from positional advantage and I’d prefer to toss Sheik offstage and try to get an edgeguard instead of risking juggling her and potentially letting her back down. If you’re more comfortable with positional advantage while Sheik is above you then go ahead, but that’s just my two cents.

If you can consistently get this, it’s an extremely powerful tool but just be aware that if you miss the dsmash you’ll most likely get boost grabbed for your troubles. Also, if she’s close enough to ledge then slideoff DI will also beat this. But still, if you practice this and can see a good chance to utilize it, it can net you some very, VERY early KOs.

A lot of this MU is just poking Sheik to death until you can force her onstage and kill her vertically with up tilt assuming they know how to Amsah Tech or otherwise intercept her recovery without letting her back to the stage.

Also be careful about going for up air at low percents if you get her onto a platform. Slideoff DI is as deadly as ever and she can get some seriously devastating reversals off of it like fair>grab.
