-Fair is pretty good vs missiles, esp late fair. PSing missiles is also pretty good but shielding them kinda sucks. If you need to use ground moves, I think it's actually good to use weak hit dtilt and weak hit dash attack vs missiles, since clank lag is based on how strong your move is (i.e. stronger move = more lag) so those are actually very good.

-Shielding is crucial vs samus, and relatively safe because of her slow grab. Her tilts are kinda hard to whiff punish (but doable) but all her ground moves are actually unsafe on shield (unless perfectly spaced), so dashing into shield is good at making her mis-space ground moves. At many spacings where shield grab will miss, fair OOS is actually very good, and only 9f startup (if perfect) which is only 2 frames slower than grab. Also, you have to do fair -> shield a lot in order to not get blown up by CC punishes, not like, fair into dashdance like vs other characters.
