Attendance an online digital event on July. 09, 2024 entitled “Pharmacists’ role in advancing self-care and universal health coverage”. The event was offered by International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).

Description: The present event was jointly arranged by the Human Reproduction Program, FIP, and the World Health Organization. Every year, Self-Care Month is observed from the 24th of June to 24th of July, together with a concentration on rising consciousness of the present topic and obtainable interventions, celebrating present accomplishments/benefits, and calling for modern action and commitments to widen health systems to contain self-care interventions. However, self-care is at the foundation of healthier populations and lives, and thus it is a column of more universal health coverage and sustainable health systems.

As people all over the world take higher responsibility for their mental, emotional, and physical health, they are actively searching reliable and comprehensive information to make instructed decisions, with or without the help of healthcare professionals, containing pharmacists. The present event will discover universal self-care initiatives and underline how pharmacists can use these in their exercise and permit the public to encourage self-care practices.
