Attendance an online digital event on Mar. 22, 2024 entitled “Pharmacy Engagement in Tuberculosis Prevention and Care”. The event was offered by International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). 

Description: Tuberculosis (TB) is a curable and preventable disease. With respect to the WHO, in 2022, it influenced 10.6 million people all over the world and resulted in 1.3 million deaths. TB happens in all nations as well in people of all ages. However, multi-drug resistant TB (MDR-TB) stays a public health emergency and a threat to health safety, with only around two in five people receiving therapy in 2022. In the present digital event, experts demonstrated the function that pharmacists perform in the fight against TB, as well how this function can be further used to maximum advantage. The present event announced World TB Day and targeted to reinforce pharmacy engagement, promote collaboration and participate in a TB-free universe through cooperative commitment and expertise.
