E-labelling & Digital Transformation in Pharmacy

Attendance an online digital event on Apr. 18, 2024 entitled “E-labelling & Digital Transformation in Pharmacy”. The event was offered by International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).

Description: E-labelling, also recognized as electronic labelling, appears as a pivotal step for digital transformation in supplying medicine information electronically rather than throughout traditional paper information leaflets (PILs). However, in Brisbane, Australia, at the 2023 FIP Congress an insight board meeting was held to search into the value, advantages, and barriers connected with e-labelling, its function in encouraging health equity and equitable arrival to health data as well as the function of pharmacists in simplifying e-labelling adoption. Thereafter, a report summarizing pivotal recommendations and insights from the board was established. FIP offered a digital event to enhance the outcomes of the report as well to further discover e-labelling like a solution for developing equity and accessibility in health data, whilst also identifying challenges connected with the regulatory and technology sides.
