"Diabetes and well-being: more than access to care"
Attendance an online meeting on May. 28, 2024 entitled "Diabetes and well-being: more than access to care". The meeting powered by International Diabetes Federation (IDF).
Description:
Uninterrupted arrival to affordable care and quality is pivotal to the well-being of diabetic patients. However, accomplishing full well-being needs more than arrival to care. A panel of commune living with diabetes, healthcare professionals, institutional representatives, and philanthropic institutions explained the obstacles to mental and physical well-being for diabetic patients and their function in encouraging well-being for individuals with the condition.
On 28 May, the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), realized the pivotal function of well-being beyond mere arrival to care, and offered the hybrid meeting “Diabetes and well-being: more than access to care” through the 77th World Health Assembly in Geneva from 18:00 to 20:00 CEST. The attendees educated how the WHO Global Diabetes Compact can participate in accomplishing positive mental and physical well-being for diabetic people.
