Program Outcome 6

What did I do: I arrived at the classroom where the students will take the ACCESS TEST. I put all the paper directions around the rooms and made sure they were not able to talk to each other. When the students came, I asked for their names and gave them the ticket. I help them log in to the right ways including supporting typing the right password. After ten minutes I take the attendant to see who is here and who is not. After that, I tried to contact the teacher who did not show up to classes, so I called the teacher to send her/him to my room. I was walking around and I also observed the students making their screens, not talking, not sleeping, and on their screens. When the student is done, I go check to make sure. Then I gave them the phone back, and I also wrote the pass to go back to their hours. Today, I have some students who have not finished their Tests. So I have them to complete the test with me. I also do the test with one-on-one students. During the times I was free I went to help the ESL students in the Biology room. Including Math and ELL art. 

What did I learned: I love to encourage students to ask questions, share their perspectives, and contribute to collective knowledge. It's hard to drift off when you're the one speaking. This shows that students learn better when they feel they belong, which translates to higher achievement. Peer-to-peer learning helps students to broaden their branch and get inclusive. The connection and rapport get better and this, in turn, promotes better classroom culture and teachers will find it easier to manage the classroom when students have a better relationship with each other. I also understand that Observation is an essential part of teaching. It checks and adjusts a teacher's performance meaning that students get the most out of their lessons, improving their academic performance and, thus improving the overall performance of the school.
