A Social-Emotional Assessment
What did I do: Large set of picture symbols on an A3 sheet, plus a set of game cards - containing between six and nine items on each card. Put the large sheet in front of the children.
Give each child a small card and a set of counters.
The children take turns to look for one of the items on their card on the large sheet.
Once they have found the item, they put a counter on the item on their card.
When it's their turn, the child can ask another child for help (but the other children should be encouraged to keep silent unless they have been asked for help).
Carry on until each child has found (say) four items.
What did I learned: Focus Attention is the ability to respond to auditory, visual, or tactile stimuli. Learners will be able to, with adult guidance, use organizational skills and strategies to focus attention to work toward personal and academic goals.

What did I do: I used visual images for students to use while reading so that they could understand the reading. These images would appear in the reading also. The students would then use the images to explain what was happening in the story in chronological order.
What did I learned: When the students saw the images in the reading book, they were able to tell right away what the word was referring to. This helped students understand the reading better since they could visualize the words instead of just seeing the word without an image.

What did I do: I created these structures to help the students visualize the structures of the shapes to help them create or draw the cube and pyramid.
What did I learned: Methods that include visual objects help the students remember the shape better.
