REFLECTION

Teaching Grade 6 courses at Marbel 1 Central Elementary School has been a tough and immensely fulfilling experience for me. My cooperating teacher, Sir Arman D. Arinzol, provided me with the chance to bridge the gap between theory and experience through his mentoring. 

My comprehension of teaching dynamics, classroom management, and the critical role that student participation plays in the learning process has deepened as a result of this practical experience. In this event, my interactions with the kids had one of the biggest effects. In particular, the sixth-grade kids' enthusiasm and desire for learning were evident in their writing and journalism classes. 

However, because of their occasionally excessive activity levels, it was difficult for them to stay focused during lectures. I soon discovered how crucial it is to plan events that effectively use their passion. I implemented techniques to better manage the classroom under Sir Arman’s supervision, including refocusing students' attention when they became distracted, using positive reinforcement, and establishing clear expectations. 

These strategies were essential in creating a more structured and encouraging learning environment where students could participate fully and stay on course. I was much helped by Sir Arman's mentoring. I was able to improve my teaching methods and gain more self-assurance thanks to her helpful criticism. 

He explained me the value of patience and flexibility, especially while dealing with my pupils' varied demands. In order to give every student the best chance of success, I learned how to evaluate their development through ongoing feedback and modify my classes appropriately. 

In addition to improving my teaching abilities, this experience has aided in my personal development by making me more flexible, sympathetic, and considerate in my approach to teaching. 

All things considered, my experience at Marbel 1 Central Elementary School has been enlightening and life-changing. Along with strengthening my love for teaching, it has given me the tools I need to effectively manage the classroom and deliver lessons.
