Marbel 1 Central Elementary School is located in the heart of barangay General Paulino Santos adjacent to it is the public market. It takes just one tricycle ride from the Division Office, Police Station, Malls, Hospitals and other establishments found in the city. The school emerges as a donation from Morales family who were known as settlers in Koronadal. It is located at Cudilla Street, Barangay General Paulino Santos, Municipality of Koronadal, South Cotabato. 

The first classroom building was made of nipa and light materials structures constructed by the parents association thru bayanihan. Since the school is located at the strategic place, the school population increases over years. The Department of Education had respond timely to the need of school, thus, several classroom buildings made up of concrete and wood were established. 

Previous principal of Bo. 1 Elementary School was not identified but in the school year 1969-1972, the school was under the administration of Mr. Jose Perez followed by Mr. Felipe Grate (1972-1975), Mrs. Felisa Ebeo (1975-1979), Mrs. Natividad A. Salvatierra (1979-1985), Mr. Dionisio A. Mabalot (1985-1991), Mrs. Amelia Mamaclay (1991-1999), Mr. Rodrigo Madayag (1999-2005), Mrs. Nelly Oronos (2005-2008), Mr. Socrates Mabalot (2008-2010), Mrs. Teresita O. Saek (2010-2012), Mrs. Amelita L. Villanueva (2012-2016) Ms. Ma. Fe Lita S. Yparraguirre (2016-2020). Currently, Marbel 1 Central Elementary School was under the leadership of Mr. Alver B. Lajera. 

With utmost commitment and effort of the principal and teachers, Bo. 1 Elementary School became Marbel 1 Central Elementary School. The school educational facilities are gradually accelerating due to the leadership of the school head, support from the Division Team and cooperation from the teachers, pupils, parents and other stakeholders. The school management team is committed to work hard for the employment of the school facilities, educational programs and instructional materials and rigid supervision including professional growth of the teacher to achieve its noble goals.
