Quick comment; if not put somwhere it might not ever be said.
For obvious reasons it won't go on a social media platform.
I read, in English, sometime near the late 1980s possibly to early 1990s, that the Prophet's (s../peace upon) description was --- red hairs...
Back then, there was a certain sort of striving (I used to do), which may have had deficiencies, to 'attain' being or appearing as similar as possible.
Amongs them, a fast trek, at day 65 stopped (at the behest-); recitation Qaf... over..; 4 straight days of a fast etc.; I don't fully ready or have ready fresh the details of the memories, as not a big to do
Later the guidance was, there is fast of Ramadhan about 30 days/month, 6 days Shawwal, 10 days Muharram, etc universally accepted, middle of month..., ... of Dawud.
As of today December 2025 on the outward, I don't appear anywhere near where I was or was heading, nor do I appear like the majority of my recent ancestors or their combinations; reference certain shines, and walking in the way of Isa/Jesus every step while no step exactly the same.
However, I probably would not have gone on to learn other aspects, nor gotten to the point where any of this all was of a concern, had not the guidance been presented which pulled me away from some of those 'extra -too-far' stunts I did in my early 20s.
So where is it at?
Post to be continued?
Below are a couple of posts/pics/links, while they last, of aspects of my pedigree history (that should have been learned about before getting started, on treks et al), but were considered lost, unknown, and other descriptions, which I have found out more about in more recent years.
-By the way, trust me, foolhardiness with intoxicants is not my calling, and best so, regardless of who says otherwise.
