Lunarlaf coaching came about when I was talking to someone I had just met and she said, "I have all the tools at home, but I have to come to these classes because I'm not creative enough to use them on my own."
"Oh my!" I thought to myself, "I have to help people like you build your confidence. Everyone is creative enough to do arts and crafts as a hobby."
I'm not qualified nor interested in teaching you about color wheels or any of that real stuff that artists do. Let's just work on making things we think look good, or express our feelings onto the page. Maybe you have "all the supplies" like acrylics and watercolor crayons, and matte medium, gel medium, gesso, and you know about the weights of paper and have stamps and die cuts. Great! Me too. Or maybe you have some colored pencils, paper, and scissors and can find a magazine or old book to cut up and some glue of some kind--wonderful!
Let's make some stuff and if we want to call it art, we will; if we want to call it crafts or mixed media--whatever, as long as it involves joy.
Another fun idea: have one session with me where you get to see some of my stamps and dies (little cut-outs), papers, ribbons, stickers, washi tape, and more--and I'll make an envelope of goodies to send to you and then we can have another session to play with them!
