Art for fun

Art is fun! There is no need to "be an artist" to have fun with art. I am not an artist. I haven't taken an "art class" since high school. But when I was in my early 20s, I discovered rubber stamps. And a whole new world opened up for me, because I realized I didn't have to be able to draw or paint realistic images to have fun with art supplies.

I want to bring the joy of arts and crafts to people who say, like I once did, "I'm not an artist," and stop there. I'm still not a visual artist, but I'm a mixed media artist, a book-arts artist, a fiber artist, and probably some others I don't even know to call myself. And I don't put on shows or even sell art, but I enjoy the hell out of it. Come enjoy some arting with me!
