When beginning to learn sign language, it's crucial to determine your dominant hand early on. For those who are ambidextrous or equally comfortable with both hands, selecting the most dominant or comfortable hand is key. Failing to choose a dominant hand can impede the learning process and affect the clarity of your signs. Consistency in using your dominant hand is essential for effective communication.
