I want to say thank you for such a wonderful class I learned a lot. Thank you for being helpful, having patience with me, and not giving up on me, as well as giving me chances to succeed in this class, as it is not the easiest class nor learning this beautiful language. You are the best! Best wishes:)
I really enjoyed the class and I plan on taking asl 2 with you next semester.
Thank you that means alot! Im still learning as i go and you are good professor! Im trying my best :)
You were such an incredible professor to have and I'm so thankful for both the knowledge I gained in asl as well as the experience I gained from using it in your class. I know i wasnt the most engaging but I appreciated your patience, explaining each assignment we did over in class, as well as being able to engage with students in sign language. My asl 1 and 2 professors did a piss poor job teaching me sign language as in they didn't teach me at all and left me to fend for myself so i was worried with taking your in person asl class that i would be lost (while of course ultimately determined to thrive), but to my surprise and joy i wasn't. Sure I didn't get everything you signed but I was able to make out words in which you said you would do the best you could to work with us and you absolutely did. It was great to be in a learning environment with someone passionate about what they're teaching and actually engaging with the students compared to just trying to get the "passing grade". Overall your kindness, love for teaching, and class structure made for a great thriving learning experience and I thank you for that.
I appreciate you for teaching me my first steps into ASL, I found this class incredibly helpful because of how it opened new opportunities for me to communicate to more people in social settings like mostly my job. I’ve been able to pick up more and more of my deaf co-workers’ signing and it’s amazing to me of the new doors and friendships it’s opened for me.
I’m grateful for having the opportunity of you to teach me ASL.
Thank you so much! I really enjoyed your class! I do intend to continue my ASL education in the future!
thank you so much! I appreciate the time and dedication you provided me this summer
I really appreciate it and had so much fun trying to learn ASL.
Thank you so much. I really enjoyed this ASL class, it was a pleasure learning from you.
It was an honor to take part in your course and to be able to learn ASL and feel comfortable to continue learning.
It was a pleasure taking this course with you as my professor. I feel so confident that I know how to properly communicate with patients using ASL and that was my main goal for this course. Thank you again
It was a great class and I learned so much! I very much enjoy ASL and want to learn more!
I’m glad I took your class. I really learned a lot. At first, I was so stressed out and upset and felt like a failure, BUT your video comments, feedback, and support helped me feel better. Your video comments really really helped me.
I enjoyed taking your class this semester. It was a fun learning experience.
I really enjoyed your class... I regret not taking you for ASL 1 & 2. You really know ASL! Not just because you are a native signer... For example, I am native English speaker, but that does not mean I can teach it! lol! So, you are highly knowledgeable in ASL linguistics!
It seems you enjoy what you do, you know ASL in-depth and it's awesome! Not all ASL teachers are good at what they do, but you are! :-D
Thank you so much for challenging me to do better. I've learned so much from you!
