School counselors support students in the academic, career, and social/emotional realms of their K-12 education. School counselors are by all, for all, and work to define, deliver, manage, and assess a comprehensive school counseling program.
The Counseling Department strives to be a comprehensive program based on the model provided by the American School Counselor Association. The three areas targeted by the counseling program are: Academics, Emotional/Social, and Career Development. These areas are reached through 3 tiers of student support: large group counseling (SEL), small group counseling, and individual counseling.
