Walter Dolfini is a Humboldt County California multi genre Writer, producer and recording artist. Born and raised in Eureka California , he began his journey into music at seven years old when he began playing trombone. In High School, Walter started a jazz band with members from a jazz class that he was enrolled in. He continued with Jazz Band classes in college.
Water studied music theory in college and on his own. After college, he took up drums and played in different bands in the San Francisco Bay area. Walter also played in different churches in the Bay Area, Humboldt County and in the Seattle area. He began playing bass and continued playing in churches and doing studio work for select projects. For the past several years, Walter has been recording his own songs and doing production. He’s currently using Logic Pro and Ableton DAW’s.
Diversity is the cornerstone of Walter’s musical background. He is familiar with, and a fan of, many music genres. He is both a musician and writer in multiple genres including Jazz, Rock, Progressive Rock, Funk, R&B, Gospel, Pop, EDM, and World Music,. Walter’s musical influences are as diverse as his musical tastes and include Miles Davis, Genesis, George Benson, Alan Hallsworth, Genesis, Boston, Metallica, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam Led Zeppelin, BB King, The Staples Singers, Average White Band, and Tower of Power,
Walter’s musical background, love of diversity and love of writing allow him to creatively flow through and between genres and to work on new ideas for songs and musical compositions. He is left in wonder at all of the creations in the natural world as well as the art created by people, whether it be a painting, architecture, poetry, or music. His goal is to continue adding to humanity’s artistic creations through continuing to build on his body of musical creative works.
