Children’s Cabinet Advisory Board representative, the Louisiana Partnership for Children and Families, hosted Children’s Day at the Capitol 2025, uniting leaders, families, and organizations from across the state in support of efforts to strengthen the future of Louisiana’s youth. The event featured informational tables from community partners and a performance by The Greater Baton Rouge Children’s Choir, directed by Dr. Christian Vigé. Attendees had the opportunity to network over lunch before observing the House and Senate in session. The Governor’s Office of Programs and Planning—through its Children’s Programs division, which includes the Louisiana Children’s Trust Fund, Louisiana Youth for Excellence, and the Children’s Cabinet—was actively represented. We are grateful for the continued collaboration of lawmakers, educators, and community leaders committed to ensuring safety, accountability, and opportunity for every child in Louisiana.
