We are so excited to introduce you to Louie Louisiana & Krewe! This children’s safety coloring book was created with you in mind! It was designed to help you color your way to safety! We have also included games and puzzles featuring all of our animal friends from our home State of Louisiana! The Louisiana Children’s Trust Fund was established in 1983 by the Louisiana Legislature to allocate funds to agencies and organizations that are addressing child abuse and neglect prevention throughout the State. The mission of the Louisiana Children’s Trust Fund is to prevent child abuse and neglect among Louisiana’s children and families through building strong cross-sector partnerships and through increased child safety public awareness. Our primary purpose is to support community-based efforts to develop, operate, expand, enhance and coordinate initiatives, programs and activities to prevent child abuse and neglect, to support the coordination of resources and activities to better strengthen and support families to reduce the likelihood of child abuse and neglect and to foster understanding, appreciation and knowledge of diverse populations in order to effectively prevent and treat child abuse and neglect. LCTF is overseen by a Governor appointed Board of Directors and managed by an Executive Director. We are located in the Governor’s office of Programs and Planning and are thrilled to continue fighting to protect the State’s most important asset….. OUR CHILDREN!
