Louisiana Children’s Trust Fund Grantee, Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Information Center of Louisiana (GRG) is a nonprofit offering resources to grandparents and others raising children who are not their own. GRG holds free quarterly legal workshops moderated by attorneys, addressing crucial legal issues common in these situations. Many of these families are at or slightly above the ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) level and can't afford legal costs. GRG also connects participants with vital resources, such as DCFS KNP workers and other nonprofits, to help ensure custody and the safety of the children.
