Welcome! 

We are a (hopefully growing!) group of ecologically-minded farming folk striving to grow vegetables and animals the best way we know how. For us that means growing food that:

• Is nutritious and delicious

• Has a positive impact on the surrounding ecosystem

• Sequesters carbon

• Limits the use of ag plastics

• Limits/eliminates the use of fossil fuels

• Gets hands in the dirt/brings people close to their food

• Is healthy for laborers

• Provides something approaching a minimum wage for the laborers

• Is affordable and meets community needs

• Contributes to de-centralizing food system power away from the small number of global industrial food companies

• Offers resilience to global supply and climate fluctuations

We are far from achieving all of these and the truth is many of them can be in tension with one another. We fail. We make compromises. We keep striving for better!
