PLO 2.1
Planning
During Fall 2022, I took LIS 663 Library Services For Young People with Professor Colleen Pinyan. This course instructed me to create my own Youth Services Program target to adolescents. I lesson planned a Harry Potter Ravenclaw Themed Program for Science Education. Professor Pinyan instructed our class to create an outline based on how we organize our program.

PLO 2.2
Assessment
The LIS 635 Introduction to Technology Class helped me become more creative with infographics usage using Canva and Piktochart. For my Technology Lesson Plan Assignment I created a Career Assessment Project to help patrons plan where do they see themselves in five years. This project target patrons between the ages of 15-44 years old.
PLO 2.3
Design
In Fall 2021, I took LIS 618 Materials for Adolescents with Professor Dawkins. Professor Dawkins taught the course by introducing us to Young Adult Literature organized by different genre themes. One of my assignments include creating a booktalk for "The Hate U Give" by Angie Thomas. During my booktalk I discussed the content and background of the novel and what symbol the character Starr represents.
PLO 2.4 Outreach
Spring 2022 I took LIS 617 Materials For Children course. For an assignment, I did a Multi-Culture Project to help draw diverse patrons to the library. I created a special section that targets African-American Literature using famous authors such as Jacquelyn Woodson, Amanda Gorman, and Grace Byers. For Indgenious People Literature, I read children picture books called
"Fry Bread,"
"The First Strawberries,"
"The Water Protectors"
"Dreamers".
