About the artist

Lisa Ernest (1977) (Springfield) creates pastel works which describe memories and travels.  

Recent artwork has been included in the Palos Verde Virtual Winter Show 2020, The Prairie Village Virtual State of the Arts 2020 and the MidAmerica Pastel Society 2020 National Virtual Exhibition. 

Lisa Ernest has earned a Masters of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Wichita State University, Wichita, Kansas.  She also has another Masters of Science in Education and Allied Professions in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton, Dayton, University.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Art in Art Education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio as well as a Bachelor of Science in Education in Spanish Education also from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.  She lives and works in Centerville, Ohio.
