In an evolving world, 21st-century skills are essential to the classroom. These are skills students need to be taught as they will be useful for them in their everyday lives, but students need to be able to use them properly. One such skill includes technology. Technology, although very convenient, can be difficult to use properly. Many dangers exist on the internet that young students may be susceptible to and being able to use technology and the internet in a useful manner can be challenging. Many debates still take place surrounding the topic of technology and its role in education but it cannot be denied that when used properly, it not only aids students in the moment, it also benefits them in the long run with a skill set that will help them outside of the classroom. An educator role's is to ensure students are prepared to face challenges outside of the classroom. Integrating technology in the classroom allows educators to do so.
