Ingredients Needed:
2 boxes of Chicken Broth
1 Cup of Water
1 Quart of Heavy Cream
5-10 Golden Potatoes
Minced Garlic
Shredded Cheese (Optional)
Sour Cream (Optional)
Bacon Bits (Optional)
Parsley (Optional)
Directions:
1.) Begin by chopping your potatoes into medium-sized cubes.
2.) Prepare a stockpot of your broth, by adding in chicken broth, water, heavy cream, and then potatoes. Allow potatoes/broth to boil for approximately 30 minutes.
3.) Once your soup begins to boil stir occasionally so your soup will not overcook.
4,) After your soup has been boiling for the recommended time of 30 minutes, check your potatoes to see if they are cooked completely through, if they are not then proceed to allow them to boil 5 minutes longer in broth. After the additional 5 minutes, check again, if the potatoes are cooked completely then it is time to serve.
5.) Serve your soop to either yourself or whoever may be joining you. Once in bowl top with the optional ingredients as mentioned above, Shredded cheese, Sour Cream, Bacon Bits, and Parsley.
