While being positive we gotta be healthy too, this has always been one of my mother's favorite salads, she said it is her original craving. Hahaha!
Ingredients:
1 Stalk of Romaine Lettuce
1 Bag of Frozen Peas
1 Red Onion
1 Chopped Roma Tomato
A whole small pack of Bacon Bits
3 Hardboiled Eggs
1 Cup of Cold Water
1/2 cup of White Distilled Vinegar
Mild Cheddar Shredded Cheese
Croutons
Dressing
Ingredients for Dressing:
1-2 Cups of Mayonaise
1/2 Cup of Sugar
Directions for Making a 7 Layer Salad:
1.) Wash all of your produce.
2.) Start by getting your small pot, filling it with water, and boiling it for 30 minutes.
3.) Chop your full stock of lettuce into cubes. Place in the serving bowl.
4.) Chop your Red Onion into cubes. Place in the serving bowl.
5.) Microwave your bag of frozen peas for 4 minutes, then place them into the fridge to cool for 10 minutes. Once cooled place in the serving bowl.
6.) Chop your Roma Tomato. Place in your serving bowl.
7.) Once your eggs are done boiling, remove them from the stove, place them in a Tupperware container with 1 Cup of water and 1/2 cup of vinegar, shake vigorously for a few minutes take them out to peel. The way to peel is to hit it on top and bottom, remove that shell, roll the egg against the counter until the full egg is cracked, then remove the remainder of the shell. Repeat for all eggs. Then chop them finely. Place into the serving bowl.
8.) Evenly spread your small bag of bacon bits across the top of your salad.
9.) Spread an even amount of your shredded cheese across the top of the salad.
10.) Top with croutons, then whip up that dressing.
11.) Stir together your mayonnaise and sugar very well, once ready to serve drizzle some on the top.
12.) Now that your salad I completely layered and done refrigerate for 30 minutes.
