Satoshi Wakisaka - Kige Workshop. Based in in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture, learned luthiery in 2007 from Serge DeJonge in Canada.
Dale Wallace - Based in San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye, Belize. Started in the 1990's
Gideon Weigert - Based in Hararit, Israel, he learned the art of luthiery in the early 2000s and had a professional workshop in 2003.
Jerome Werner - Valley Made. Based on Oahu, Hawaii. Started in 1996 with his uncle Tomas Ceniza, and on his own since 2002.
Woodley White - Pu'uwai. Based in Naalehu, Big Island, Hawaii. Started in 1992 learning from Jeff Elliot amongst others and went full time in 2007
Grant Wickland - Based in Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada. Started around 2007 and specialises in Banjos and single cone resonator instruments including banjoleles and baritone resonator ukuleles.
Jeb Wiemer - Based in Wahiawa, Oahu, Hawaii. Started off working for Ko'olua. In 2011 he left to start his own firm.
Jim Williams - Was based in Sydney, Australia. Started in the 70's and retired in 2010. Wrote a book on Guitar making in 1988. When he retired, he sold off a lot of StuMac Ukulele kits?
Laurie Williams - Based in Paraoanui Valley, New Zealand. Has been building professionally since 1993 and started making ukuleles in 2007.
Steve Williams - Halekoa. Based in Honolulu Hawaii. He is a wood worker and part time luthier making 3 or 4 ukuleles a year since 2003
Halemaumau Wilson - Nakulu. Based in Waimanalo, Oahu, Hawaii. Nakulu was started in the late 1990's by Halemaumau's Father. He joined, studied at Hana Lima ‘ia and took over the brand in 2006.
Scott Wise Based in Margaret River, Western Australia, making Ukuleles since 1979. He makes all scales from Mini, (which he calls "Piccolo") to Bass.
Randall Wong - His wife Lenda had a opened a shop called Ailani Ukuleles In Honolulu in 1995 and he made Ukuleles to sell in it, some were branded R&L and some Ailani. this shop closed but there is an Ailani Ukuleles shop on Kauai, Hawaii.
