The firm was founded by Larry Breedlove and Steve Henderson in Oregon, USA, 1990 making Guitars, (and is run by Larry's brother Kit). Over the years it has added Mandolins and Ukuleles to its range. 

It only made Tenors, and only had a range of three designs, (the Master Class, the American and the Signature), but they would customise these designs a bit though for a price.

I believe they have stopped making Ukuleles now as they said it was uneconomic, (I can't find them listed on the website?) though they did come back for a while after stopping the first time.
