My Manuel Rodriguez Soprano
This is a small maker of handmade instruments, (primarily Guitars but they do make other fretted instruments as well), based in Devon in the UK. They were founded some time around 2000 and name all of the models of Guitar after west country rivers. In 2003 they introduced Ukuleles to the range and now they have Soprano, Concert and Tenor Ukuleles in the catalogue, though these didn't get a name beyond Ukulele, with the 010 or 015 model number, (The 010 has an unbound headstock and fingerboard, mother of pearl fingerboard marker dots, oblique herringbone purling and chrome hardware. The 015 has a bound headstock and fingerboard, diamond and dot fingerboard markers and gold hardware, abalone top border and rosette.) I have also seen a custom Instrument that might be a big Baritone or a small Tenor Guitar (or a 4 string Octave Mandolin or some kind of Octophone affair?)
Founded in 1991 by Frantisek Javurek in Jeneč, Czech Republic, in 1997 it became Amistar and expanded to a production line from the one man outfit. They makes primarily Resonator Guitars, of which they do single and tricone models and won an Award in 2003.They do also make other single cone resonator instruments to though like Mandolins and Ukuleles (they are the OEM for Risa's Resonator Ukuleles so it's hard to find one of their Ukuleles not branded Risa). They also do a lot of custom engraving on the metal body instruments. They use to have a website but it appears now they just go through Facebook.
A luthiery partnership consisting of Alessio Belli and Simone Assunto, founded in 2013, (though they started working together in 2009), in Gavirate, Italy. They are both graduates of the Civica Scuola di Liuteria in Milano. They mainly make Guitars but they do include Soprano, Concert and Tenor Ukuleles in the catalogue
