Year 9

During Year 9 your teachers will arrange opportunities for you to learn about the world of work. This may be them teaching you about jobs related to their subject (look out for careers displays around the school),  they may also arrange for you to go on trips or have visitors come in to school to talk to you. During Personal Development lessons you will learn about  your Digital Footprint. 

In Term 3 you will be introduced to our Careers Platform  called Morrisby this platform will help you throughout your remaining years at the school to make choices about your future.

In Term 4 you will have an opportunity to meet with a Careers Advisor and also attend a Careers Fair which will help you think about your options for Post 16 education or training and also potential jobs for when you are older. You will also be supported in school in understanding and choosing your options for Year 10 and beyond.
