Year 9

Careers learning is cross curricular with all departments offering Careers related learning opportunities. Further specific Careers provision in Key Stage 3 is delivered through Personal Development lessons in collaboration with external agencies and partners. In Year 9 support is also provided by an Independent Impartial Careers Advisor from the Education Business Partnership in the form of face-to-face meetings. Notes will be completed in their Careers appointment(s), detailing what pupils need to research and what they are initially considering for their Post 16 education or training. Mr Parkin continues to provide additional support to all years, with their career development working closely with the Careers Advisor.
