Triumph on the Field: Kosofe LGEA Shines at BESS Competition 2024
On July 10th, 2024, our pupils from Kosofe LGEA achieved another remarkable feat at Yaba College of Tech Sport Center during the BESS Competition 2024. Hosted by Lagos SUBEB, the event brought together pupils from various Local Government Education Authorities (LGEAs) to showcase their athletic prowess and teamwork.
Football Victory
In the highly anticipated football match, our team, comprising pupils from Kosofe LGEA, Shomolu LGEA, and Ikorodu LGEA, emerged victorious.
They bagged the cup home against formidable opponents from Badagry LGEA, Ojo LGEA, and Amuwo Odofin LGEA Team. This win is a testament to their dedication, hard work, and excellent sportsmanship.
Overall Achievement
Our success did not stop at football. In the overall sports competition, Kosofe LGEA secured an impressive third place. Our pupils showcased their talents across various events, earning one or two medals each. This outstanding performance highlights the commitment of our pupils and the support they receive from their teachers and coaches.

A Day of Celebration
The atmosphere at Yaba Stadium was electric, filled with cheers and celebrations. It was a day of triumph for our pupils, who not only represented Kosofe LGEA with pride but also demonstrated the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

Amusa Afolabi J. for their presence and support. We also appreciate the SUBEB Chairman, Dr. Hakeen Babatunde Shittu, Permanent Board Members and Directors who hosted and attended the event.
