BCH has great services and programs for employees to attend to their spiritual, physical, mental, and financial wellness. Take a look below!

Health &Wellness

Spiritual Care. The Spiritual Care Department serves the many constituencies within Boston Children’s Hospital - patients, families, caregivers and staff - by providing spiritual care and support that cultivates healing, wholeness and honors the dignity of each person.  Ph: (617) 355-6363

Employee Assistance Program/KGA. A free confidential service to help staff find resources to help address almost any household issue and offers mental health screenings. Ph: (800) 648-9557 

Grokker. BCH's personal well-being app, it offers over 4,000 videos to help build resiliency, such as through meditation and a sleep program.

Mental Health Support. Contains links to resources for counseling, mindfulness and meditation, resilience strategies, and stress management.  Also includes free access to 10 Percent Happier, a meditation app for health care workers.

Health-Well Being Programs. Contains information and access to many free or subsidized resources, including Learn to Live (mental health online programs and clinical assessments), Livongo (a diabetes management program), OviaHealth (tools and resources for those trying to conceive, currently pregnant, in the postpartum, or returning to work), Nutrimedy (personalized evidenced-based nutrition therapy), BodyScapes Fitness (on-site gym for BCH employees) and WW (formerly Weight Watchers, a weight management and wellness program).

DID YOU KNOW?   If you are a BCH benefits-eligible employee, you can receive up to a yearly $150 reimbursement per family for health club membership dues or fitness studio classes AND a yearly $150 reimbursement per family on a Weight Watchers or hospital-based weight-loss program. Learn more here.
