Project 1

This assignment require students to investigate a famous architectural structure of their choice and identify the architectural and structural materials utilised in the structure.

The project's final product will be a poster that is uploaded online after being created using the material compiled on two A3 landscape pages.

Chosen building and architect : Dancing House by Frank Gehry

Reflection

This project gave me the opportunity to learn and comprehend structural and construction procedures more effectively. I t helped me understand the distinction between architectural and structural materials as well as how they are used in building construction.

Project 2

This project required us as a group of 5, to use our ADII Project 2: Introspective Architectural Folly and make only minimal design adjustments to conform to the commercial criteria of traditional building constructions. To come up with the construction plans, we must comprehend the construction and installation of the folly and include building components such as stairs, doors, windows, etc.

Reflection

By completing this assignment, I am able to comprehend how structural components are used to create structures. Additionally, I was able to grasp the use of structural materials in the business and their fundamental parts.
