Task
The history of architecture traces the changes in architecture through various traditions, regions, overarching stylistic trends, and dates. The historical richness creates a very vibrant architectural fabric. However, many historical buildings may face the risk of being demolished to make way for more contemporary buildings. Thus, by recording, documenting and analysing the buildings, we can contribute to preserve the historical evidence of the valuable historical Architecture. I am tasked to document 5 A4 sized sketches with research on 5 diffrent era (Prehistoric, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and Rome, Middle Ages and Renaissance, Age of Enlightenment).

Online learning is hard for us to have direct interaction with our lecturers physically, but with the help of many platforms (Zoom, Teams, Times) I am able to learnt and complete the assingment with their guidance. The services provided on these platforms are easy to use and helpful in submitting my work.
The tutor and Module coordinator for the this course are really nice and helpful. Their lectures and tutorials really helped me improve in learning the history of architecture. My tutor, Mr. Azim provide me with alot of information, as well as time management skills to keep my assingment on track.
In this project, I understand better on human's involvement in history that influence the way we structure our buildings. I was opened up to historical cultures, technology and their society. Through this assignment, i was able to learnt on the different civilisation and architecture styles that have become a monument for our generation to learnt and improve from.
