Grading Policy
Grades 7–12
Each quarter is worth 100 points total.
The semester grade is the average of the two quarter grades.
Projects, participation, and following studio procedures are factored into the quarter total.
Late work may be accepted with a deduction at the teacher’s discretion.
Grades K–6
Students will receive either:
Satisfactory (S) — meets grade-level expectations
Not Satisfactory (NS) — needs improvement in meeting grade-level expectations
Evaluation is based on effort, participation, and following directions rather than technical skill alone.
