Samples of My Work Section--InTASC Standards

The Council of Chief State School Officers, through its Interstate Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (InTASC), is pleased to offer this set of Model Core Teaching Standards. These standards outline what teachers should know and be able to do to ensure every PK-12 student reaches the goal of being ready to enter college or the workforce. InTASC standards outline the principles and foundations of teaching practice that go over all subject areas and grade levels that all teachers share. The 10 standards are divided into four categories: learner and learning, content, instructional practices, and professional responsibility.
