Educators facilitate learning with technology to support student achievement of the 2016 ISTE Standards for Students. Educators:
Foster a culture where students take ownership of their learning goals and outcomes in both independent and group settings.
Manage the use of technology and student learning strategies in digital platforms, virtual environments, hands-on makerspaces or in the field.
Create learning opportunities that challenge students to use a design process and computational thinking to innovate and solve problems.
Model and nurture creativity and creative expression to communicate ideas, knowledge or connections.

Hyperdoc: Adventures of Jeff the Giant
Class: ITEC 2360: Teaching with Technology
Semester: Spring 2022
Rationale: This Hyperdoc shows that I can connect content into a creative learning experience for students. Throughout this assignment students would be asked to problem solve as well as think critically. They would be asked to do this by exploring the content of the class through articles as well as creating their own work of art to go along with the lesson. It showed that the content is engaging and connected for all students as they would be able to move at their own pace.
Nearpod
Class: ITEC 2360: Teaching with Technology
Semester: Spring 2022
Rationale: Nearpod is a creative resource that teachers can use as a formative assessment tool as well as a full lesson. After creating the final product, the teacher can choose between making the Nearpod, teacher paced and walking students through the lesson or giving students the ability to work through the lesson at their own pace. As schools are moving toward more remote learning, this tool allows teachers to get information and content to their students in a fun and engaging way.
Padlet
Class: ITEC 2360: Teaching with Technology
Semester: Spring 2022
Rationale: Padlet is a creative resource that teachers can use as a formative assessment tool. After creating the final product, the teacher can see what students post on the board but also the students can see it as well. This gives students the chance to create a discussion amongst themselves about certain topics another student has brought up in the padlet. Students are also able to make as many posts as they want to keep the coversation going.
