Balance- Olives
Class: ART* 1110-01 Foundation: Two Dimensional
Semester: Spring 2022
Rationale: Using different types of balance shows how you can create different pictures about the same object. It makes students use critical thinking skills on how to make four different pictures using the same object but different perspectives on where to place the objects so the painting or drawing feels balanced.
Hyperdoc: Adventures of Jeff the Giant
Class: ITEC 2360: Teaching with Technology
Semester: Spring 2022
Rationale: This Hyperdoc shows that I can connect content into a creative learning experience for students. Throughout this assignment students would be asked to problem solve as well as think critically. They would be asked to do this by exploring the content of the class through articles as well as creating their own work of art to go along with the lesson. It showed that the content is engaging and connected for all students as they would be able to move at their own pace.
ITEC Final Project
Class: ITEC 2360: Teaching with Technology
Semester: Spring 2022
Rationale: These two artifacts show how I, as an educator, can connect two different concepts to be able to engage learners through different activities. These activities require students to be creative in producing their own ideas in front of the class and learn about different Renaissance artist and invetors.
