• avatar: selfie of myself

• symbols user names: my english nickname

• pictures: pictures of me at different restaurants or museums

how do they intersect with your other worlds:

• In school, I prefer teachers and friends to call me by my nickname so I choose that for my social media platforms.

• my hobbies involve eating and exploring historical events so my posts about at the restaurants and museums reflect what I like

why do you create different identities online:

• I wish to show people the good side of me, since I'm not perfect and cannot control everything. However, in the digital world, It's so easy to manipulate or build up a character that we want.

• also, I use an unofficial account to follow people I don't like so they don't know the actual person that follow them

how have your identities online changed through evolution, adaption, transformation, radical creation:

• evolution: change site interest

• adaption: change in profile aesthetic

• transformation: stop commenting or telling opinions on social media

benefits of having different identities online:

• increase creativity

• culture diversity

• personal growth

drawbacks of having different identities online:

• confusions about certain beliefs and values

• creattes potential conflicts

• social media data collection: like cookies setting, tracking our activities on the internet for personalized ads. Some apps will ask to track our location as well. Meaning that they steal our information for commercial purposes. However, these technologies would help enhance user experiences, as it presents lots of our interests and familiar information on social media.

• facial recognition program:  china is famous for using face id to track personal information of its citizens. Everywhere they go, the government is aware of it. It might be helpful to control society's safety, but at the same time it evokes human rights of the people being observed 24/7
