For helping a person to change their perspective and to encourage them to aspire big, sessions on ‘life skills’ will be helpful. The sessions could be on any needed topics and throughout the year, based on some feedback or assessment with the participants. The sessions shall be livelier by interaction with participants, brainstorming activities, and use of audio-visuals. The time duration that would be required for the sessions shall be 40 minutes/ week (recommended)/ month or so, based on the need. There shall be a talk for about 5 to 10 minutes to give the students awareness about various issues and problems around them along with the session on life skills, and some home tasks associated with it.
The training for the facilitators shall be in different frequencies like monthly once- six months once, based on the availability and need. Continuous guidance and support to the facilitators shall be provided- online and by phone, for the content or activities to make it more interesting and approachable.
