Pedagogy involves the methods and principles of delivering instruction in an appropriate and approachable manner. It is widely pronounced in the field of Education and Training where the teacher trainer or instructor delivers some content to the students or participants. It’s not just used in teaching and training but in a much wider setup wherever the sharing of knowledge and information is done. The art of pedagogy is very much essential and useful for being more effective, thoughtful, empathizing, and teachable professionally as well as personally.
Pedagogy helps us to develop ourselves as well as develop others more interestingly and engagingly.
WORK PLAN
For the participants to rightly understand the concepts or information, sessions on ‘Pedagogy’ will be supportive. Pedagogy enhances productivity and efficiency in a group or a team. The sessions could be on any topics needed throughout the year, based on feedback or assessment from the participants. The sessions shall be livelier by interaction with participants, brainstorming activities, and use of audio-visuals. The time duration required for the sessions shall be at least 1.5 hours/ month (recommended)/ bimonthly or so, based on the need, and some associated home tasks.
The training for the teacher trainers or heads of the institutions shall be in different frequencies like three months once- six months once, based on the availability and need. Continuous guidance and support to the trainers or heads shall be provided- online and by phone, for the content or activities to make it more interesting and approachable.

When a teacher or Trainer can connect the skills and values (or applications) in everything, it also helps them to be more self-reliant and achievable. Also, the use of activities in the process to teach the concepts makes the learning more interesting and understandable. The activities also help to connect the learnings to practical scenarios.
It is always interesting to give or continue to give (as you may already have) more importance to the skill and value-based education or training in everything that is taught in the ways possible by the inclusion of interesting activities.
Foundational skills in a particular subject are essential for continuous learning and comprehension of a particular subject. So, it is essential to bridge the gaps for the students of higher classes who lack the foundational skills in a particular subject for coping with the subjects that they learn at the moment. It is even essential for the younger students to strengthen the foundational skills to cope with the studies in higher classes. The appropriate assessments, activities, continuous monitoring, evaluation or analysis, and systematic tracking help to build the foundational skills from whatever level they are in.
